Join us at the Performance Lab on Thursday 11th December for our Level 6 BA Acting and Performance students' Acting Showcase, featuring excerpts from plays and monologues by Chris Bush, John Godber, Jonathan Harvey, Conor McPherson, Yasmina Reza, Aaron Sorkin, Jane Thornton and Laura Wade.
Final-year BA (Hons) Acting and Performance students present a curated programme of scenes from modern and contemporary plays, rehearsed using advanced Stanislavski-based techniques. Working in small companies, they apply detailed text analysis, units and objectives, actioning and through-lines of action to create nuanced, emotionally precise performances. This industry-facing showcase highlights their craft, ensemble work and readiness to step into professional rehearsal rooms and public stages.
