Darkly poetic and hauntingly beautiful, The Brides of the Bathtub is a ghostly retelling of true crime. Three brides—Bessie, Alice, and Margaret—emerge, drenched and determined, from their watery graves to share their tragic fate at the hands of the charming yet sinister George Joseph Smith. With eerie storytelling, splashes of humor, and a bathtub-laden set, this play blurs the line between justice and the afterlife. A chilling, feminist take on history, The Brides of the Bathtub is part murder mystery, part spectral testimony, and wholly unforgettable.
