About the Event
Final-year Acting & Performance students collaborate with Digital Media Production to create hybrid works for the Impressions of the Matter live brief. Starting from selected passages of John Ruskin’s lecture The Storm-Cloud of the Nineteenth Century, they translate his unsettled skies into performance, screen work and immersive environments. The programme unfolds in a cutting-edge 360° igloo projection space, surrounding audiences with fractured weather, live bodies and unstable digital images. Each piece is both performance and experiment, testing how actors, cameras and code can share a stage in an age of changing climates.
Capacity at each of the 6 immersive screenings is limited to 20. Audiences by invitation only.
