About the Event

Malum Tapes is a short audio sci-fi fantasy story set in a world of immorality, where passion and greed rule all. The events of Malum Tapes take place in between events of this overarching narrative that extends beyond this presentation. It is a sequel before a sequel. The plot follows Billy Armstrong, a tragic character who's inflicted by an entity that originated at the beginning of time. Through Billy and their experience on Earth, it awakens, manifesting intelligence and allowing Billy to possess superhuman powers. Yet Billy quickly learns that this entity is not benevolent, it is the physical embodiment of ambition and all the human flaws it has learned from Earth, these flaws grow its strength, feeding it.

The Malum story is a message urging people to accept the darker parts of themselves so that they can become better people, less selfish and more selfless. It's a classic tale of good vs evil, but this conflict is internal, residing in all of us.
