The Sheffield Hallam Acting & Performance Digital Showcase 2021 is a 5-day online festival featuring performances, films, and presentations by students from all years of the degree.

 

For our Level 6 students, the showcase marks the end of three years of hard work and the culmination of Final Project: a major module in which they have been tasked with attending to all aspects of the creation of either, 8-12 minute digital performances, a practice-as-research project, or research focussed dissertation.

 

Our Level 5 students have been busy creating 3-minute short-films for BREAK 3 Festival, a micro-festival of DIY films; and Level 4 students have spent the year working on the creation of digital portfolios, and will be sharing showreels and audio performances as part of a special celebratory event. 

 

We've also invited some special guests to join us too. These include Collective Bordel from Argentina and Sheffield's The Babbling Vagabond's, who will both be creating shows with the students in the summer.
