About the Event
Opening night brings a curated quad bill of three short live works and one film, each testing what it means to endure, adapt, and keep moving. In Room 12, Phoebe enters the care system after her mother’s death and confronts grief, therapy, and the language of being “looked after”. Dregs adapts Roadside Picnic into a dystopian multimedia extraction, where survival becomes a moral pressure test. One’s Journey pairs live poetry with film to chart intimacy, missed connections, and emotional aftermath. The night closes with Suspended, a quiet short film where two strangers flicker between silence, resistance, and almost-change.
