Acting & Performance Winter Showcase follows our students’ journey through the degree, from first encounters with body, voice and text to industry-facing ensemble work for stage and screen. Across Level 4 Actors’ Toolkit, Level 5 Acting with Texts and Creating Digital Media, and Level 6 Digital Performance Lab and Advanced Acting Showcase, you’ll see how technical training, collaboration and research develop into confident, original work.

The programme brings together live and digital performances made for a professional festival context: focused scene work from Acting with Texts, emerging ensemble pieces from Actors’ Toolkit, short films and portfolio projects from Creating Digital Media, experimental hybrids from Digital Performance Lab, and a curated Advanced Acting Showcase that spotlights final-year actors’ readiness for the profession.

Expect new writing, physical theatre, storytelling, Shakespeare reimagined, multi-media performance, experimental digital projects, short films and scripted plays, with live and screen-based work presented side by side as students test and share the craft they will carry into the industry.
